Every Patty King Jamaican patty is made fresh at our bakery in Scarborough using recipes handed down through the generations. Choose from spicy beef, mild beef, chicken or veggie and find your favourite flavour.
We make thousands of patties every week at our bakery, most of which we distribute through retailers throughout the region. We also sell plenty of patties at the bakery itself, along with a range of classic Jamaican dishes during lunch hours.
It’s a taste that kids and adults love, at a price that makes everyone happy.
What is a Jamaican patty?
It’s a handheld snack consisting of a flaky pastry stuffed with a delicious savoury filling. Its roots go back to Jamaica in the 1800s, when English baking traditions mixed with local spices to create something new and delicious.
What are “seconds?”
Seconds are imperfectly shaped patties that come out of our bakery. We sell these at a discount—but the taste and quality is always on point.
Do you deliver?
We deliver our wholesale boxes to our retail partners around the GTA and southern Ontario. Otherwise, no—we’re not on the apps. But no matter where you are in the Toronto area, you’re probably close to a store that sells our patties.
Are your patties vegetarian?
No. Currently, our patties—even our vegetable ones—use beef suet in the pastry to give it our signature flaky texture and rich flavour.
All your questions, answered
How many should I buy?
As many as you want! It’s like we say: one’s a snack, two’s a meal, buy a whole box to get the best deal. Boxes come with either five or 12 patties—great for the workplace, a snack for the basketball team or all for yourself.
Can I freeze them?
You sure can! Reheat them in the oven, toaster oven or air fryer for best results. In a pinch, a microwave will do, too.
Can I sell Patty King patties?
We're always happy to have more retailers carrying our patties. Fill out a request form on our Wholesale page, and we'll follow up with you as soon as we can.
Do you make anything else?
Yes! Visit us in person to try our full Jamaican kitchen, where we make favourites like jerk chicken, oxtail, coco bread and so much more.
